The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, leisure centers, primary school, high school, and adapted primary and secondary schools. We have over 3,200 employees at 45 preschools, 22 primary schools, and four high schools. The position and job responsibilities

As a teacher, you play an important role in contributing to making Botkyrka Municipality Sweden's best school municipality, where students succeed in school and develop according to their unique abilities.

In your role, you will conduct teaching and related tasks such as preparation and follow-up of lessons as well as grading. You will be part of a work team and participate in the team's joint efforts. You contribute to a good learning environment through active collaboration in working groups. Together, you will focus on the students' knowledge development. You will also collaborate with other staff at the school. You actively participate in the school's value-based work and work inclusively. You are committed to staying updated as a teacher and in your subjects through monitoring the environment, professional development, and collegial learning. You are expected to be able to work with digital tools in your teaching.

As an employee with us, you are an ambassador for the school by participating in open houses, fairs, etc.

• You are a qualified teacher and have a teaching license.
• You have a good ability to express yourself in spoken and written Swedish.
• You have good leadership skills and an understanding of people's different abilities to absorb knowledge. You have extensive experience in formative assessment and in building good relationships with students, as we believe this is the path to well-being and good academic results.
• You have good collaboration skills, can plan, organize, and implement educational activities, and have a creative and flexible approach that promotes children's learning and development. Since the position involves social contacts with students, parents, and colleagues, it is important that you have high communicative competence.
• You will work both in teams and independently and are responsible for creating a safe and creative environment for the students. You provide the support and stimulation that students need for their learning and development. You actively work with the organization's values and have close cooperation with the individuals in the children's vicinity.

Tumba Södras Ro consists of Broängsskolan and Kassmyraskolan. They are well-functioning and popular F - 9 and F-6 schools with approximately 1100 students. Both schools are located in a scenic area with good transport links, and the schools have a very high proportion of well-educated and qualified staff. At the schools, there is safety, joy of life, closeness between staff and students, and an environment that fosters creative expression and learning. We strive for everyone to have the opportunity to grow at their own pace while encouraging them to dare a little more.

The position is designed so that you will teach grade 3 at Broängsskolan and grades 3-6 at Kassmyraskolan.

You who are applying to us

Requirements: Teaching license – (relevant to the assignment)

Meritorious: Experience working as a teacher. (Primarily in the area relevant to the position) IKT knowledge (Google) Experience with V-Class Experience working with TÅGET. (A violence prevention method in schools for children, parents, and staff.)
