Personal Assistant Wanted

About the Job

We are looking for a warm and patient personal assistant for hourly work.

You preferably have previous experience working with children who are high-functioning on the autism spectrum and understand the complexities of managing both emotional and environmental sensitivities. The person needing assistance is a young girl who is very kind and intelligent but sometimes has strong emotional reactions. You will be part of a small workgroup and will work closely with them and the family.

Desired Qualities in the Assistant

• Ability to calmly manage and support during emotional outbursts.
• Creative in adapting daily activities to individual needs and sensitivities.
• Strong in communication and able to build trust.
• Patience and the ability to see and meet both expressed and unexpressed needs.
• Fluent in Swedish.

Job Responsibilities Include

• Support at home and during activities outside the home.
• Creating a safe and supportive environment.
• Collaboration with guardians and any other caregivers to create and maintain a safe environment.

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working Hours, Employment Rate, and Salary

We are looking for someone who can work as a substitute as needed during the spring. There are good chances of getting a summer position. Work shifts may be scheduled during daytime and evening hours, weekdays, and weekends.

Hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation according to collective agreements.

As agreed.
