We are now looking for you who want to become a resident physician in general medicine and have a varied job where you meet patients of all ages and backgrounds! Do you want to develop with us?
Sala Health Center is located in central Sala, close to shops and the train station with quick connections to both Uppsala, Stockholm & Västerås. The health center is very pleasant and has a well-functioning operation with about 9,700 registered patients and 30 employees. We work preventively with preventive healthcare. Where job satisfaction, high competence, and safety are important and always with the patient in focus.
Here you will be part of the team and help develop our operations. There are specialized nurses with clinics in asthma/COPD, hypertension, dementia, and diabetes. We have a memory team and coordinating nurses. There is access to physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation coordinators, psychotherapists, and dietitians. There is also a child health center (BVC). At the health center, we work in a team-based manner, which promotes collaboration between staff groups and provides opportunities for knowledge exchange and continuity. We work person-centered and see the whole patient.
As a resident physician at the health center, you will work within a broad area that covers general medical competence for patients of all ages and life situations. You will work independently and variably with outpatient work with varied tasks in close collaboration with other professionals at the health center. You will receive supervision from an experienced specialist who provides you with support and opportunities for knowledge exchange. Daily, there is a general practitioner assigned for support in various patient cases and to provide assistance so that you feel secure in your role as a physician. You will also be part of a work team where we work multiprofessionally.
We are looking for someone who is attentive and collaborates well with others. You are stable in your professional role and communicate clearly. You find it easy to collaborate with all professional groups. Furthermore, you can easily adapt to changing circumstances and have a flexible working style. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
