We are in the process of recruiting summer substitutes and are looking for colleagues for housing support as well as for our daily activities, group homes, service apartments, and personal assistance.

Here, you will work with adults with some form of functional variation. The operations are based on the individual's approved LSS or SoL decision.

Responsibilities

As a colleague in our operations, you will be part of an engaged staff group.

Your tasks will involve providing care, help, and support to users based on their individual needs. The individual's daily life with tasks such as cleaning, laundry, cooking, medication management, care tasks, shopping, leisure activities, walks, excursions, etc. is an obvious part of your work. Doing this in a motivating and pedagogical way is a prerequisite. You will start from the individual's needs, wishes, and desires while utilizing the resources and abilities each individual has.

Qualifications

Requirements:
You must be at least 18 years old. You should have good mental and physical condition, a low-arousal approach, and a pedagogical attitude. Knowledge of different ways to communicate is expected as this is part of your daily work. Your personal qualities are important, and we want you to have a professional demeanor towards everyone you meet in your work.

Your tasks include documenting and communicating with various parties, which requires good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form. Since computers are used as a working tool, you need to have good computer skills.

Before starting your summer substitute position, you need to undergo a medication training course, which the municipality provides for you to receive medication delegation. You must pass this course.

Meritorious:
Experience working with people who have different functional variations or other experience in care, social psychiatry, or similar. We value positivity, responsibility, and flexibility. We also want you to have a strong empathetic ability and be attentive. Relevant education in care and nursing or similar is also meritorious.

A B driver's license is desirable and in some cases a requirement.

What does our recruitment process look like?

• Selection and interviews take place continuously during the application period based on the needs of the operations.
• You should provide references from current or previous supervisors or, in some cases, team leaders. If you have no previous work experience, you can provide a teacher from your high school as a reference. If you have previously worked in Kungälv municipality, internal references will be taken. Please contact the reference before providing their name.
• For those who are not citizens of the EU/EES area, a work permit is required; this does not apply to those with permanent residency. The work permit must be presented at the interview.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities, and selection will occur continuously.
