Security Guard for Gate Service at Arlanda

Avarn Security has the assignment to deliver security services to Stockholm Arlanda Airport. This includes security guard staffing that works with the surveillance of critical infrastructure and airport controller staffing responsible for ensuring that no unauthorized persons or prohibited items pass through security checks. For many years, we have also provided security services to Oslo Lufthavn Gardermoen.

We offer you an exciting job at Scandinavia's largest security object, which will consist of stationary surveillance work at the gate. High demands are placed on you as an individual to maintain a high level of security at the site. The job requires good teamwork skills as well as the ability to make sound decisions independently. Being communicative and physically fit is essential to thrive in the position. You need to be flexible and enjoy that tasks may change at short notice. Working Hours and Employment

The working hours are full-time, where you will work as a Security Guard stationed at the gate at Arlanda. The working hours are distributed across all hours and days of the week. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis. The position is a permanent employment with a 6-month probation period starting after agreement, with the requirement to complete training that will be provided to qualify for employment at Arlanda. Two years of work experience is an advantage for this position.

Requirements and Preferred Experience

The position requires you to be able to carry a weapon. An assessment interview will be applied for this competency before weapon training takes place. It is advantageous if you are already trained as a security guard and airport controller. If not, we will ensure you receive training. Other experience from the security industry is also advantageous.

Requirements for applicants:

• Swedish citizen
• At least 18 years old
• No criminal record and drug-free
• High school diploma
• Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
• Organized finances
• Driver's license B

Preferred for the position:

• Several years of experience working in the security industry
• 2 years of work experience is advantageous
• Security guard training
• HAS training
• Experience of independent work
• Guard training VU1/VU2

Since Avarn Security is a security-classified company, a security review with a background check is conducted according to the Security Protection Act.

To work at Arlanda, a successful security review is required, which means you must be able to verify your employment over the past five years. This must be documented in the form of certificates, grades, or equivalent that document the period from spring 2020 to now. Ensure that you have the documentation in order before a possible interview. Avarn conducts financial reviews during the recruitment process.
