Logistics Unit Malmen

The Logistics Unit Malmen supports the units at the Linköping garrison, both in normal situations, security political crises, and armed attacks. The logistics unit is organized with a staff that coordinates support and operational departments for supply and technical services. The logistics unit is a dynamic workplace with varied tasks and opportunities for personal development. We are growing, and we need you!

Main Responsibilities

• Warehouse work regarding dispatch, delivery, reception, inventory, care, and control of the Armed Forces' equipment.
• Ordering and requisitioning of materials and transport.
• Packing of orders.
• Reporting in the Armed Forces' accounting system.
• Other tasks related to warehouse services may occur.
• Participate in networks.
• On-call work may occur.
• Service at another location in Sweden or abroad may occur.
• Heavy lifting may occur.

In addition, you will participate in the section's work regarding the development and improvement of operations.

Qualifications

• Good computer skills
• You have a B driver's license (manual transmission).
• You meet the FM basic requirements regarding physical ability.

Personal Qualities

You enjoy working independently and in a team, where you are proactive and seek solutions to problems that arise. It is very important that you are meticulous, stress-resistant, and want to work in a changing work environment. As a person, you are positive, outgoing, and enjoy having various contacts both within and outside the Armed Forces. Overseas service may occur.

We place great importance on personal suitability. Personnel employed in the Armed Forces may have priority for the position.

Meritorious

• Knowledge of the Armed Forces' (FM) accounting systems LIFT and PRIO
• Knowledge of other inventory accounting systems
• Experience in warehouse management
• Experience with FM equipment
• Loader/Truck driving license and ADR
• C driver's license
• Military driving license for passenger car, minibus, truck

Other

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a six-month probationary period. The position is located at the Armed Forces Helicopter Wing in Linköping, travel and on-call duties during evenings and weekends may occur. The position is civilian. Start date by agreement.

The Armed Forces Helicopter Wing is a unit with both land and maritime operational focus that can operate in missions in Sweden and internationally.

Helicopter support is requested by many, for example for personnel, material, or medical transports, command, reconnaissance, or surveillance missions. The Helicopter Wing often participates in missions and exercises with other units but also as support to society in various crisis situations.

Our operations span across Sweden, the variety of tasks, and the size of the wing with over 950 employees provide a variation in work and opportunities for personal development. The majority of the Helicopter Wing is located in Linköping (Malmen), where we also manage Malmen Airport and the Linköping garrison, with two large units in Luleå (Kallax) and Ronneby (Kallinge).
