The Social Administration in Askersund Municipality is responsible for elderly care, LSS and care operations, social psychiatry, operations for unaccompanied refugee children, and individual and family care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle IT-related issues regarding the systems
• Provide support and training to users within the organization
• Assign permissions and conduct access audits
• Be responsible for collaboration between IT and operations
• Manage incidents and perform technical troubleshooting in IT systems, also related to permissions, escalate to the supplier and IT service provider if necessary
• Collaborate with suppliers, which includes managing releases, testing, upgrades, and decommissioning systems
• Monitor and manage contracts with suppliers and obtain quotes
• Perform system maintenance and ensure that IT systems maintain good technical quality
• Specify requirements and manage integrations with other IT systems
• Write and manage technical documentation for IT systems
• Participate in procurements by developing requirements
• Participate and also be responsible for certain parts in the further development/implementation of new functionality in collaboration with operational representatives and suppliers
• Monitor new digital opportunities and identify application areas for new technologies

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with an academic education in IT at the university level or relevant vocational training in IT. We see that you have experience working in IT projects and current experience in some IT-related area, such as system management, system science, information technology, IT security, or computer science. Experience in procurement, project management, and requirements management is considered an advantage. The job requires that you have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are analytical and good at seeing connections and solving complex questions and problems. You take initiative and start activities to achieve results. Furthermore, you are flexible and can see opportunities in changes. The job suits you if you are communicative and have good collaboration skills, relating to others in a responsive and smooth manner. You are good at structuring, planning, and prioritizing your work.

The position requires a valid driver's license B.
