About the position

The position as a Test Engineer means that you will work with testing and troubleshooting modulators during the production phase on-site in Uppsala. You will be an important part of a team that jointly conducts production tests, acceptance tests, and installations of our products. The team currently consists of 8 engineers and is part of the Operations department. Your work will primarily be practical and involve various tasks such as connecting power and cooling water, refilling transformer oil, connecting instruments, and setting up test environments. This is done before the actual testing process can begin. During the tests, you will use measuring instruments and collect data in test protocols. The position may also involve collaboration with the neighboring group on installation and final testing of products at customer sites, known as Site Acceptance Test. Your main responsibilities

• Conduct final tests of modulators before they are delivered to customers, which may sometimes be done in collaboration with the customer.
• Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues that may arise during the testing process.
• Management and analysis of RF systems
• Provide support and training to our customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent in electronics, mechatronics, medical technology, technical physics, mechanical engineering, or another relevant background
• Swedish and English in speech and writing
• 0-2 years of work experience as an engineer

Preferred qualifications

• Work experience as a test engineer
• Programming skills in e.g. C/C++, Python
• Knowledge of PLC
• Forklift/Crane license
