Our department is based in Fryshuset's own properties in Hammarby Sjöstad, but you will also work with our facilities in Akalla and Husby. This gives you the opportunity to develop and gain new experiences in different locations.

About the role

As a Property Caretaker with us, you will be an important part of our management and operations team, reporting directly to the Facilities Manager. You will be responsible for daily supervision, ongoing maintenance, and minor repairs in our properties. The work is varied, practical, and social, involving daily contact with colleagues, activities, and our youth.

Your tasks:

• Daily supervision and maintenance of the properties
• Handling and addressing reported issues
• Performing minor repairs and maintenance work
• Practical caretaker tasks such as furniture assembly, moving, hanging, lock and door service, as well as maintenance of premises and outdoor environments
• Monitoring and ensuring optimal operation of heating, ventilation, and technical systems, and reporting to technicians as needed
• Collaborating with contractors and suppliers during maintenance work
• Actively participating in planning and executing ongoing maintenance and contributing improvement suggestions
• Ensuring that our premises are safe and pleasant for staff, activities, and visitors

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, solution-focused, and enjoys practical work. You are flexible, proactive, and can prioritize effectively in an active and changing everyday life.

We would like you to have:

• At least 3 years of experience as a property caretaker or in a similar role
• Good knowledge of property maintenance, including minor repairs and upkeep
• Practical experience in assembly, furnishing, and problem-solving
• Ability to independently plan and prioritize tasks
• Good understanding of technical systems such as heating, ventilation, and basic control systems
• Driver's license (required as work occurs at multiple locations in Stockholm)
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Basic IT skills for managing work orders and reporting systems
• Certifications in fire safety, alarms, hot work, and lift operation are advantageous
