About the assignment and the person we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced interim controller for a full-time position where you will support the management and leaders of the organization in various areas.

As a controller, you will work alongside an experienced colleague and play a central role in financial management. You will provide support to managers in budgeting, follow-up, and forecasting of both financial and operational information.

You will be responsible for:

• Budgeting, follow-up, and forecasting for assigned departments.
• Goal and operational management, including planning, analysis, improvement, and follow-up of operational plans.
• Support to the management team and leaders by developing and implementing templates related to operational management.
• Presentations for the management team.
• Responsibility for reporting operational plans.

In addition, the tasks may also include:

• Analysis and reporting of key figures and financial outcomes.
• Development of financial processes and routines.
• Collaboration with other departments and functions within the organization.
• Participation in strategic development projects.

Your Profile

You should be able to independently provide qualified support in financial matters and ensure effective follow-up of operational plans. You have:

• Several years of experience as a controller or economist responsible for budgeting, follow-up, and forecasting.
• Good knowledge of the Office suite.
• Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.

It is highly meritorious if you have experience working as a controller or economist within municipal operations.
