Mörbylånga municipality is located in the southern part of Öland and consists of about 1200 dedicated and competent employees who are driven to make a difference in our community. RESPONSIBILITIES

As an environmental and health protection inspector, you will work with assessments and supervision according to the Environmental Code. A large part of the job also involves providing support and information to individuals and businesses.

In the environmental unit, we supervise several different industries, including those requiring permits. Therefore, you will work with supervision over industry, waste, contaminated areas, workshops, and more. A significant part of the work involves conducting on-site inspections, both for the public and for businesses. As an environmental and health protection inspector, you usually have your own areas of responsibility but often share tasks with your colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who wants to work with supervision and understands the needs of those we serve. You are an educated environmental and health protection inspector or have equivalent training that we consider comparable. We prefer that you have previously worked as an environmental and health protection inspector.

You can express yourself clearly in speech and writing and enjoy working both independently and in a team. You are confident, service-oriented, and understand the importance of good professional and supervisory relationships. You are accustomed to continuing education on your own initiative and enjoy developing your professional role.
