Are you passionate about sustainable properties and technical management? Do you want to lead teams for collective delivery in daily operations and according to maintenance plans? Then you could be the technical manager we are looking for in the Östermalm area of Stockholm!

Your assignment

As a technical manager, you will be part of a team consisting of technicians, property managers, energy engineers, and operations engineers. Together, you will ensure efficient delivery and high-quality operations. In addition, you will also drive the work on sustainability and digitalization, with a strong focus on customer experience. You will be based at KTH Campus and report to the head of the Technical & Service department.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:

• Planning of maintenance, supervision, and care, including regulatory requirements.
• Management and improvement of digital operational systems and working methods.
• Collaboration with the property unit regarding budgeting, follow-up, and financial reporting.
• Maintaining legal requirements and certifications (e.g., environmental certification).
• Depending on delegation from the department head, responsibilities for operational performance, troubleshooting, and services to tenants may be included.
• You actively contribute to the development of technical operations and sustainability within an innovative and forward-thinking organization.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, we see that you are a relationship-building person who enjoys collaboration and is clear in your communication while being attentive to your surroundings. It is important that you are available to others and provide support when needed. This means that the position primarily requires physical presence at the workplace and that you are driven by personal contact with both colleagues and customers.

In addition, it is important that you feel confident in your way of leading and delegating, as well as being able to make quick decisions when the situation requires it. In such cases, it is crucial to understand how both your own and others' decisions affect the entire organization while thinking commercially.

To succeed in the role of technical manager, we see that you have:

• Post-secondary education in civil engineering, building technology, or similar. Alternatively, relevant work experience.
• Experience in the industry, preferably with commercial premises.
• Leadership experience as a team leader, in project management, or similar.
• Previous experience with budgeting and maintenance systems.
• Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is a merit if you have:

• Previous experience working in laboratory premises as a technical manager.
