JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Boken is a residence with both dementia and somatic departments.

Your responsibilities include supporting and assisting users based on their individual needs and wishes, together with other staff members. You are responsible for providing care and support of good quality according to the municipality's guidelines.

The tasks involve assisting individuals with personal care, social support, and various service interventions. We work to ensure that all our users experience a meaningful everyday life through various activities and participation from users and relatives. Being a contact person is part of the job responsibilities, and delegated home care tasks occur in the form of medication and insulin management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Completion of the upper secondary school care program, corresponding adult education, or other equivalent education deemed comparable by the employer. Specialist training in dementia care is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who understands the importance of good interaction and has experience in both dementia care and somatic elderly care. You are responsible, flexible, and easily collaborate with others. You focus on what is best for our residents. You are also accustomed to working with documentation, implementation plans, enjoy technical solutions, and contribute to the development of the organization.

You have a genuine interest in meeting people with dementia and somatic illnesses and work person-centered based on the values that apply to care and support. You engage, communicate, and collaborate with the user and their relatives to increase participation and security, always in a professional manner. It is important that you are computer literate and master the Swedish language in both spoken and written form. Personal suitability will be given great importance.
