Store Associate Wanted at Sekelskifte

We are looking for a store associate for our store at Karlavägen 7 in Stockholm.

Do you love working on the shop floor and have some knowledge of architectural history? We are seeking a customer-oriented, outgoing, and cheerful employee with an eye for detail who is eager to learn for our store at Karlavägen 7 in Stockholm.

About the Position

As part of the store team, you will provide Sekelskifte's customers, including DIY enthusiasts, interior designers, architects, and contractors, with knowledge and good advice about our range of tiles, bathrooms, kitchens, paint, wood, and other products for home and living. You will work daily with sales, order administration, goods reception, and packing customer orders.

The position is a permanent employment of 30 hours/week with the possibility of additional hours. We apply a six-month probationary period. The opening hours are Monday-Friday from 09:00-18:00, Saturday from 11:00-16:00. Working hours are primarily scheduled in the afternoons and every other Saturday. The store team currently has six employees who will be your new colleagues. The position is to be filled immediately or as agreed.

Sekelskifte has grown over the years thanks to an attractive product range, good service, and a well-developed omnichannel strategy, of which the store in Stockholm is an important part. The store functions both as a shop and a showroom. From the store, we serve both B2B and B2C customers across all channels in close collaboration with the headquarters and warehouse in Västberga.

Your Profile

• You have worked as a salesperson in a store for a few years and enjoy meeting customers daily to provide high-quality service.
• You know how a store operates and handle cash systems and order administration with ease.
• You have an interest in interior design and renovation, although we place great importance on your personality and sense of service.
• Experience with kitchen and bathroom fittings such as electricity, faucets, showers, toilets, etc. is an advantage.
• Knowledge of carpentry is also a plus.
• The pace is fast with many tasks to juggle, so it is important that you can handle stress.
• Some lifting may be required, so we prefer that you can manage this.
• Your Swedish and English are very good in both spoken and written form, and you have good computer skills.
