JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Water and Sewage Department within the Community Development Administration supplies urban areas with drinking water, manages and treats stormwater and wastewater, and produces biogas. The department actively works to develop and improve operations to meet future challenges with a long-term sustainable and secure water supply in our growing municipality. The Water and Sewage Department currently consists of about 70 employees, and you will be part of the Pipeline Unit, which is responsible for the pipeline network and stormwater ponds.

As a pipe network technician, you will work with operations and maintenance tasks on the water and sewage pipeline network. This includes handling emergency leaks, maintaining pipelines with associated devices, performing planned renovations of existing pipeline sections, and laying new water and sewage pipelines. You will alternately work in a team or solve certain tasks independently.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with education or practical experience in construction work/plumbing (for example, a high school education in building/construction or HVAC). You are accustomed to using digital tools for information retrieval, reporting, etc.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities. You have an easy time establishing contacts and relationships that contribute to good collaboration. You enjoy working with others while being self-sufficient and able to make your own decisions in daily work. As a person, you are skilled at planning and structuring your work while being flexible and adaptable when circumstances change. You are meticulous and always strive to achieve good results.

A valid driver's license (B) is required. On-call duty may be included in the position.
