We are currently seeking two dedicated unit managers who want to make a difference. With us, you will have the opportunity to lead and inspire while contributing to improving the quality of life for our citizens.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a unit manager, you report directly to the department head. You are part of the department's management team, where you work closely with your department head and other unit managers on continuous development, follow-up, and evaluation work. Together with your unit manager colleagues, you share a common responsibility for the whole.

As a unit manager with us, you are a first-line manager and have operational responsibility for operations, finance, personnel, and working environment. By utilizing the skills of your employees, you will lead, organize, coordinate, and develop the operations. Quality work and improvement work are important parts of the assignment, and through your leadership, you create participation among employees based on a goal-oriented approach. The role also includes being an on-call unit manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a relevant academic degree or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent.

• Documented experience as a leader or manager is an advantage. Previous managerial experience with responsibility for operations, finance, personnel, and working environment is advantageous.
• Experience in systematic improvement work, change management, group dynamics, and conflict management is desirable.
• Experience working in public services and knowledge of laws such as the Health and Medical Services Act and the Social Services Act.
