Interim Manager Needed for Faith Community in Gävle

On behalf of our client, we are now seeking an interim manager with extensive experience in personnel management, change management, and organizational development. The organization is a faith community engaged in spirituality, social work, and culture. The assignment is based at the organization's office in central Gävle.

About the Assignment

As an interim manager, you will lead four teams comprising approximately 40 employees and report to the organization's highest official. A central part of the assignment is to support your employees during an ongoing reorganization, expected to be completed by the end of 2025. You are also expected to contribute with business analysis and proposals for development initiatives.

The assignment is desired to start immediately and will last until the turn of the year 2025/2026. The scope is estimated to be around 80–100%. You are expected to be on-site at least three days a week, while the remaining time can be worked remotely.

Your Profile

We are looking for a senior manager with experience from the civil society, public sector, or other non-profit organizations, preferably with experience leading larger teams. A very good ability to express oneself in Swedish is a requirement. We would also like you to have worked within a larger community-beneficial organization – experience from civil society is an advantage.
