Gävle Golf Club, one of Sweden's largest and most successful golf clubs, is known for its broad sports activities and one of the country's best junior programs. The club is in an exciting phase of development and is now looking for a business-driven and strategic leader who can further develop the operations and strengthen the club's position both in sports and commercially.

As CEO/Club Manager of Gävle Golf Club, you will have overall responsibility for driving and developing the club in line with the board's strategic direction. Your mission involves leading and developing the operations with consideration for the environment, social sustainability, and responsible corporate governance. You will build and strengthen collaboration with stakeholders in the region to ensure long-term development and optimization of the club's offerings for members and guests. This may include everything from ensuring a high course standard to designing green fee and pricing strategies, as well as further developing the pro shop, restaurant, and other facilities.

In the role of CEO, you will be the club's face to the outside world and will actively work to strengthen the Gävle Golf Club brand within golf Sweden, the business community, and relevant organizations in the region. You will collaborate with the sports manager, whose task is to ensure continued successful elite and junior activities, competition activities, and member care, as well as initiate initiatives within para-golf and gender equality issues.

Additionally, you will lead approximately 25 employees through the course manager, the office, and the sports manager, and you will report to the chairman of the board and the board.

Your Background:
To succeed in this role, we see that you have solid experience in successfully leading and developing a business with commercial responsibility. You have a good understanding of commercial partnerships and have a broad network, or at least the ability to build strong business relationships. Furthermore, you have experience working both strategically and operationally with business development, and you are used to leading, motivating, and coaching employees while working closely with a board. An interest in golf and an understanding of the golf club's role and development opportunities are seen as beneficial but not required.
