Julins Backyard Barbecue, Restaurant and Smokehouse opened in the fall of 2020. We are driven by the desire to offer top-class barbecue! The inspiration comes from the American South, specifically Austin – Texas. Our guests are our friends, and when they come to us, they should have a holistic experience of food, drinks, music, and service with a personal touch. Texas barbecue – right here in Värmland!

In 2022, we acquired a Foodtruck that rolls out for larger catering assignments, events, festivals, and markets. We are now looking for responsible individuals who want to be part of our dedicated team and work in our Foodtruck, primarily in the evenings and on weekends. Our season starts in May and runs through September.

Characteristics: You are a positive person with a strong work ethic, driven, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are service-minded, presentable, flexible, meticulous, and stress-resistant. You appreciate order and tidiness, both in your own work and that of your colleagues. You thrive in a demanding environment and are engaged and curious to learn – and be taught. You pay attention to detail and are good at meeting and accommodating guests' individual needs.

Responsibilities: You will take care of our guests in the best way possible, present our menu, and handle the cash register. You will plate and serve food, clear tables, and maintain order both inside and outside our Foodtruck. Your tasks will also include packing and preparing the Foodtruck as well as driving it to the designated location. You will set up and prepare for service. In our Foodtruck, we always work with at least two people.

We are looking for someone who: Has experience in serving, guest contact, and cash handling. Experience in kitchen work within a restaurant is a plus.

Has a B driver's license and can drive our Foodtruck.

Our Foodtruck primarily operates in the evenings and on weekends, so you need to be available to work mainly in the evenings and on weekends. In some cases, we travel far, and you may need to stay overnight in another location.

Personal qualities and attitude are the most important factors for this recruitment. To fit the role, you need to be a good team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
