Clinical Sciences is looking for a dog caretaker for KV stable for summer temporary employment

About the job

The duties include daily care, feeding, and handling of dogs as well as walks. The work also includes daily sanitation of premises and yards, as well as material care.

Working hours are during the day according to a schedule and include weekends. Work during inconvenient hours may occur.

Your background

Practical experience in handling dogs is a requirement. Qualification as an animal caretaker is an advantage. Experience in laboratory animal operations or animal hospitals is also an advantage. You express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish and have computer skills. The ability to express yourself well in English is desirable. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and abilities such as teamwork, flexibility, and self-motivation.

About us

The Department of Clinical Sciences is responsible for undergraduate education, research, and doctoral education in the fields of veterinary medicine, animal care, and pet science. The department's activities mainly concern our common Swedish domesticated animal species (pets) with a focus on anesthesiology, imaging diagnostics, animal care, epidemiology, laboratory animal medicine, surgery, clinical chemistry, medicine, and pet reproduction.
