Are you an experienced mechanical designer with a passion for technical innovation and business development? Do you want to work in a leading role where you drive the development of mechanical solutions and contribute to strategic decisions? Then this could be the opportunity for you! We are looking for a highly experienced mechanical designer for our client in the manufacturing industry in Eskilstuna.

As a Senior Mechanical Designer, you will play a key role in designing technical solutions based on given conditions such as function, style, volume, geometry, costs, quality goals, and regulations. You will lead and support design activities within your area of expertise and ensure that the design meets business objectives.

In this role, you will be an active part of the delivery process, integrating contributions from others, ensuring quality and readiness for release, and contributing to product and system roadmaps. You will network and build relationships with universities and external institutes to stay at the forefront of your technical field.

You are expected to be a specialist in mechanical design, with at least 10 years of experience in relevant areas. You will:

• Lead and coach other engineers in mechanical design
• Be a natural contact person for complex technical issues
• Drive strategic initiatives and product ownership within industry trends
• Create value by linking your work to the company's long-term strategy
