We are looking for a property manager for an authority in Stockholm.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The authority's mission is to prepare and implement decisions regarding the direction and scope for a long-term sustainable public transport system. They are also responsible for the management and monitoring of traffic operations, as well as maintaining the functionality, safety, and value of the infrastructure. Every day, more than 700,000 people travel using public transport, including subways, buses, commuter trains, and local trains.

The property section is the infrastructure owner of property facilities within all modes of public transport, where responsibility includes maintaining safety, functionality, value, and condition of the properties and installations within the section's area of responsibility. Currently, the maritime properties and fixed installations include terminals for the Archipelago Traffic at Strömkajen, Nybrokajen, Vaxholm, Stavsnäs, and Årsta bridge, as well as the two terminals of Djurgårdsfärjan, with the new Slussen terminal under planning. In addition, there are also facilities on over 300 piers throughout the Stockholm archipelago. As the Bus and Maritime Manager, you will participate in several exciting, challenging, and high-profile projects ahead. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for leading business meetings with contracted suppliers and working to create and maintain good relationships with key internal and external contacts.

Responsibilities

· Management of the waterfront infrastructure such as quays and piers, as well as lease agreements

· Monitoring and development of agreements with maintenance suppliers/transport operators for operational services

· Responsible for part of the budget and operational planning regarding the business manager's management objects

· Responsible for ordering and participating in operational projects that affect the business manager's management objects

• Responsible for initiating technology and property-related investments, including the preparation of project orders, implementation decisions, and investment calculations

· Act as the owner representative towards all stakeholders of the authority

· Follow up key performance indicators within the management area

· Propose changes and development opportunities and actively drive continuous improvement efforts

· Contribute to creating a professional work environment in the team with a focus on good service

· Contribute to collaboration with other departments and sections

· Participate in the procurement of maintenance contracts

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

Minimum high school education. At least 5 years of experience in managing and following up business or contract agreements. At least 5 years of experience in analyzing contract management and placing it in context.

Meritorious

Degree from: Vocational school or University with a focus on shipping/construction/infrastructure/property management. At least 5 years of experience in economic and result responsibility in a client (public) or supplier organization. At least 5 years of experience working in a supplier organization.
