We are now looking for you who are in medical training and interested in working as a temporary junior doctor in General Psychiatry during the entire period week 24-32. We are currently seeking for the clinics in Lindesberg, Karlskoga, and Hallsberg. If interested, there may be opportunities to take on-call shifts in Örebro and to work hours during the autumn or holidays after this period.

General Psychiatry consists of outpatient and inpatient care and is one of four operations within the Psychiatry area. The operation has clinics in Hallsberg, Karlskoga, Lindesberg, and Örebro. We have an Affective Clinic, a Unit for Neuropsychiatric Assessment, and a Clinic for Young Adults. The inpatient care has 2 departments in Örebro and also conducts SPOT (specialist psychiatric nursing team) in Lindesberg, Karlskoga, and Örebro as a bridge between inpatient and outpatient care.

In addition, the Psychiatry area in Örebro Region also includes the operations of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, and Specialist Psychiatry (psychosis and addiction).

Job Responsibilities

As a junior doctor, all tasks are performed under the supervision of an experienced doctor and should be seen as a form of training position. You will have the opportunity to further develop your skills within the medical profession through commonly occurring tasks in psychiatric outpatient care.

Qualifications

At least completed T-9 in medical training in Sweden or completed psychiatric course in education within the EU, and all points up to T9 approved. Swedish corresponding to level C1 on the Council of Europe’s scale is a requirement. If applicants from education in the EU are employed, they need to apply for a special appointment themselves via the National Board of Health and Welfare after receiving their contract.
