The Service Administration offers an independent and varied job in kitchen and cleaning where you can work in different workplaces and develop. If you work with kitchen and cleaning in Varberg municipality, you are part of an organization that puts service and the customer at the center. In the role of meal assistant/cleaner, you should enjoy working both independently and together with others. It is important for us that you feel good at work, which is why it is essential that you work ergonomically and environmentally consciously.

We are looking for a resource person for area 1. The area consists of the production kitchens Limagården and Buaskolan, as well as the receiving kitchens Väröbackaskolan, and preschools in the area. You will work at all units in the area and primarily cover planned vacations and absences. Work within the entire Food and Cleaning department occurs when you are not booked within your area. You will belong to the workgroup at Buaskolan within Food and Cleaning. Weekend work may occur.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Preparing and serving breakfast and snacks
• Special diet management
• Boiling potatoes, pasta, and grains
• Preparing salads
• Self-control for kitchen and cleaning
• Dishes and cleaning of the kitchen
• Cleaning services
• Handling and operating cleaning machines
• Orders via digital e-commerce

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is positive, has a strong sense of service and responsibility, and enjoys working with people. You are a proactive person who is solution-oriented and contributes with innovative thinking and inspiration. You should be able to collaborate easily with others and not be afraid to contact guests, staff, and customers as you are our face to the public. You need to be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, as reading and following recipes, routines, and instructions, as well as communicating with colleagues, clients, and diners, are part of the job.

We expect you to have some relevant education or experience in the field such as:

• Food education at the high school level or equivalent education
• Experience as a meal assistant
• Experience in cleaning
• Certified cleaning training or other relevant qualifications, as well as knowledge of floor care, is advantageous
• Good computer skills are required as we work with electronic commerce and food data programs
• HACCP training
• Driving license B

You should have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and share our values where equality and diversity perspectives are natural parts.
