Forklift Driver for Planing Mill in Skillingaryd

We are a planing mill with 3 planing lines and just over 10 employees in Skillingaryd, about 30 minutes south of Jönköping along the E4. We are part of a larger company with sawmills in Malmbäck and Hjortkvarn, as well as another planing mill in Mora, a paper industry in Hyltebruk, and a pulp industry in Aspa.

Forklift Driver

We are now looking for an experienced forklift driver who wants to become part of our team in Skillingaryd. The work mainly involves operating a 10-ton forklift that handles large packages and requires you to supply our planing lines with timber, unload finished packages, load and unload trucks, and help maintain order in our warehouse. Previous experience in the wood industry or operating heavier counterbalance forklifts over 10 tons is an advantage. It is important that you are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, to quickly and safely understand instructions.

As a forklift driver, you will work alongside another forklift driver to ensure the flow of the industry runs smoothly. We are a smaller organization located in Skillingaryd, and it is important that you are good at collaborating with others, have strong communication skills, create a positive atmosphere, and are not afraid to help out where needed.

We are looking for someone with experience operating forklifts, preferably larger ones, although this is not a requirement. For us, the most important thing is your willingness and attitude!
