We are looking for a senior project engineer for Trafikverket, stationed in Stockholm.

This is a consulting assignment.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Business Area Large Projects is responsible for procuring and executing Sweden's largest and most complex infrastructure projects. As one of the country's – and thus the Nordic region's – largest builders and clients, Trafikverket contributes significantly to societal development, both in the planning phase and in the construction phase. We place great emphasis on completing our projects on time, within budget, and with the expected content.

Some of our largest projects right now include the implementation of the ERTMS train traffic control system and investment projects such as Mälarbanan, Förbifart Stockholm, Tvärförbindelse Södertörn, Ostlänken, and Västlänken.

• Lead and support procurements within the Ostlänken/Vagnhärad project, including framework agreements, project-specific procurements, and direct procurements.

• Transfer knowledge to employees at Trafikverket regarding the tasks performed by the consultant.

• Lead and support in contract procurements, consultant procurements, municipal agreements, and design agreements.

Requirements (NOTE, mandatory) Documented experience in contract law, primarily AB, ABT, and ABK, acquired through education and practical application for at least 10 years.

Experience with at least 5 previously documented multidisciplinary projects containing MK-BEST and road, extensive contracts, and design assignments with long lead times (at least 3 years), as well as extensive design and contract work. These assignments may have been carried out concurrently. Documented experience in working with assignment descriptions and procurement strategies. Excellent language skills in technical Swedish and technical English, both spoken and written.

For the client, it is an added value that the consultant has at least 5 years of documented experience in developing internal governance and strategic guidelines.

For the client, it is an added value that the consultant has at least 5 years of documented experience in handling complex contractual issues involving multiple technical disciplines.

For the client, it is an added value that the consultant has at least 5 years of experience in following up work against standards and regulatory requirements for design and contracts, with traceable quality documentation.
