JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Destination Karlskrona AB is a newly established wholly owned municipal company responsible for developing and marketing Karlskrona as an attractive destination for residents and visitors. The company works with a broad portfolio of services within destination development and marketing.

The company's business areas include events and meetings, marketing and communication, partnerships and relations, Cruise Karlskrona, film node, visitor services (tourist office), destination development, and operations and development of activities at Drottningskärs Kastell.

As the Responsible for Partnerships and Relations, you will work to establish the Partnerskap Karlskrona network to develop Karlskrona's attractiveness together with the business community and other stakeholders. The goal is to increase pride and ambassadorship, contribute to increased immigration, and attract new investments.

Your responsibilities include:

• Developing and following up long-term strategies, action plans, and concrete tools to develop and drive the Partnerskap Karlskrona network.
• Building long-term relationships with the local business community and other partners.
• Conducting and planning regular partner meetings and other activities.
• Your placement will be in the marketing and partnership team, which means you will also partially work on issues and assignments related to the company's marketing efforts. You will also assist within the company's other teams as needed.

Work during evenings and weekends may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

For the position, the following is required:

• Post-secondary education in marketing or other relevant education deemed suitable for the role, along with documented experience in relationship and development work.
• Ability to build good relationships, strong networks, and creative solutions.
• Ability to communicate well in both spoken and written Swedish.
