Signalisten - Sustainable housing in vibrant urban environments in Solna. Signalisten is the municipal housing foundation of Solna. Together with our wholly-owned subsidiary Solnabostäder, we own and manage approximately 4000 apartments, about 5000 parking spaces, and around 300 commercial premises in properties throughout Solna.

Description of the Project UnitThe Project Unit works with Signalisten's ambitious goal to build 2000 new rental apartments, while nearly 2000 rental apartments in the existing stock are planned for renovation. The unit's main tasks include property development and project management during both design and implementation, as well as handing over completed projects to management and after-sales work.

The Project Unit currently consists of seven project managers, two technical managers, and one construction engineer. The group possesses specialized expertise in all parts of the construction process, and we believe that collaboration is the key to successful projects. If you also have experience working with larger renovations of multi-family houses, you might be the one we are looking for!

About the role: As a Project Manager for renovation projects at Signalisten, your main tasks will be to drive several larger renovation projects from project idea to handover. You will organize and lead internal resources and consultants towards the set goals.

You are responsible for developing project and time plans and ensuring and implementing projects in accordance with Signalisten's project processes. The role also includes consultations with tenants, contacts with authorities, and the establishment of investment documentation and budget work. You procure consultants and contractors in consultation with the responsible purchaser and are responsible for ongoing reporting regarding project status and results.

We believe that you have solid construction technical expertise and specialized knowledge in larger renovations of housing and residential areas and are accustomed to working in digital systems. You confidently manage several parallel projects and always deliver high-quality results.

Additionally, you have good leadership qualities and are attentive to customers, colleagues, and partners. Your structured work style allows you to effectively plan and organize your work while building and maintaining both internal and external relationships. We are looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 5–10 years of project management experience focusing on larger renovations of multi-family houses and residential areas.
  • Has relevant academic construction engineering education or previous experience from a similar role.
  • Has experience leading several parallel projects and a good understanding of the entire process from feasibility study to handover.
  • Has excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

You should also preferably have:

  • Experience in LOU
  • Documented knowledge of rental law and construction law
  • Experience with digital systems such as project portals, property systems, drawing systems, office365, etc.
  • Have a genuine interest in the development of housing and good living environments
  • Experience from the consultation process with tenants.

Working hours Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Appointment The position will be filled as soon as possible according to agreement.
