Höglundaskolan is a K-9 school with an adapted primary school for grades 7-9, beautifully located in Södermalm in central Sundsvall. The school has about 600 students and around 80 staff members. We strive for the small school within the large, which is why students and teachers are divided into teams. The fundamental idea is that students and teachers should form a collaborative unit both pedagogically and socially. Team before self.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching in wood and metal crafts. Part of the position will be allocated to the adapted primary school. Therefore, we are looking for a special education teacher with a focus on IF with qualifications in crafts.

You will be part of a working team, subject team, and have mentorship responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for someone who is a special education teacher with a focus on IF, with qualifications in wood and metal crafts. You have experience teaching in primary school and are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and can implement them in practice.

We want you to have a good ability to create strong relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You possess good communication skills, clear leadership, and the ability to collaborate effectively. You reflect on your teaching and how it can be developed through evaluation and application of current research as part of the school's systematic quality work. You have good knowledge of teaching students with NPF.
