We are currently looking for a pedagogical babysitter for a family in Mälarhöjden, Stockholm.

About us

NPF Babysitter offers childcare for families with children with NPF.

NPF stands for neuropsychiatric functional impairment, and the most common impairments are: ADHD, Autism, ADD, AST, Tourette's syndrome, and Language impairment. Our goal is to help as many as possible with special needs, and therefore you will undergo internal training in NPF before starting your first assignment. At NPF Babysitter, you will have a developing, joyful, and incredibly rewarding part-time job.

The assignment:

Number of children and age: Two children aged 2 & 4 years.

Days and times: About 2 evenings/month. Preferably Fridays and Saturdays.

Desired start date: Immediately

Childcare takes place at the family's home or in a nearby park.

Location: Mälarhöjden, Stockholm.

We are looking for someone who:

Has some experience with children, preferably with developmental disabilities & Autism

Has experience with clear pedagogical methods & low-arousal responses

Is responsible and has a genuine interest in children

Wants a developing and rewarding part-time job

Is pedagogical, secure, and calm

Can work flexibly both evenings and weekends

Having a driver's license is an advantage

Typical tasks may include:

Picking up from preschool/school

Organizing activities inside and outside the home

Providing support during outings

Preparing simple meals

Bedtime routines

Engagement, socialization, and relief
