About the Company

Göinge Arnimek was founded in 1983 and has since specialized in manufacturing high-quality metal components for various industries. The company has a modern facility and experienced staff working together to produce tailored solutions for customer needs.

We have a high demand for our services and are therefore expanding our operations with a new employee. We are looking for someone who wants to work as a welder, and in this recruitment, we are collaborating with Wikan Personal.

Your Responsibilities

As a welder at Göinge Arnimek, you will primarily work with TIG welding of stainless steel sheet metal, but other welding methods and sheet types may also occur. The material thicknesses are normally from 2 mm to 10 mm, but sometimes the material is also thicker than that. You will also be involved in workshop tasks such as grinding, cutting, drilling, and threading. An important part of your job will be to build custom products according to drawings, which means you will have the opportunity to use both your technical and creative side.

Your Background/Your Qualities

To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you have:

A basic welding education or equivalent experience in welding.
Experience in general workshop work, which is an advantage.
Good welding knowledge and the ability to read drawings accurately.
An eye for detail and quality – you are someone who strives for perfection in your work.
A valid driver's license and access to your own car are required, while forklift and overhead crane certificates are advantageous.

As a person, you are a positive, solution-oriented team player who enjoys working both efficiently and meticulously. You are driven, engaged, and have a strong desire to develop and learn more in your profession.

The working hours are during the day, and the position is located at Göinge Arnimek's premises in Hanaskog. The position will be filled as soon as possible after agreement. We apply ongoing selection, but the last application date is 25-04-20.

The position is a temp-to-hire recruitment, where you are expected to transition to a permanent position at Göinge Arnimek after an initial temp period through Wikan Personal.
