About the position

As a consultant at Lernia, you will work within the manufacturing industry at one of our clients in Västervik. The position requires you to be able to work weekend shifts, meaning you will only work on weekends. This position requires you to be self-sufficient and able to take on a leading role. You are responsible for performing your tasks carefully and efficiently and are not afraid to work independently if necessary. The tasks can be heavy, physically demanding, and varied, so we see that you are a person who enjoys variation in your work tasks. We prefer that you have previous experience within the manufacturing industry and a good understanding of how the processes may look. Forklift driving is one of the tasks that will occur at the workplace, therefore a forklift license is required. The work environment can sometimes be perceived as loud, dusty, and warm in temperature, so we prefer that you are accustomed to this type of environment and are not likely to be affected by it.

About you

Formal qualifications

We are looking for someone who has at least a high school education and preferably experience in the industry. A technical interest is also important to succeed in the role. You need to be in good physical shape as the work can sometimes be heavy and monotonous. We value that you are handy, dexterous, self-sufficient, and have a positive attitude in collaboration with colleagues. Flexibility, responsibility, and a strong work ethic are crucial qualities for this position.

Other formal requirements:

• Driver's license B
• Forklift license and good experience in forklift driving.
• Ability to work weekend shifts.

Meritorious

It is advantageous if you have previous experience in the industrial sector. Knowledge of specific industrial technology or certifications can also be a plus. Having worked in teams before and having experience adapting to different work environments is highly valued. Additional training in adult education or job-specific courses can also give you an advantage in the selection process.
