Emmaboda Energi is a local company with about 30 employees, wholly owned by Emmaboda Municipality. We have a turnover of approximately 140 million SEK and create community benefits on a business basis by producing and delivering essentials such as water, heat, electricity, and broadband. We also manage household waste and sewage. We invest in our electricity network, among other things, by replacing overhead lines with underground cables to climate-proof electricity distribution and reduce future maintenance costs. We are environmentally certified according to ISO 14000.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to work with electrical engineering and sustainable energy supply in a future-oriented industry? Emmaboda Energi is looking for an electrician/electrical installer who wants to help build, maintain, and develop our electricity network to ensure a safe and sustainable electricity supply for our customers.

As an electrical installer at Emmaboda Elnät, you will have a varied and technically challenging job. Together with our installers, network technicians, planners, and network manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and reliable electricity supply to our customers.

Your main tasks:

• Operation and maintenance of the electricity network at 0.4kV and 20kV
• Reconstruction and new construction of the network. The electricity network mainly consists of underground cables but also some overhead lines
• Troubleshooting and repair to ensure reliable electricity supply

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least a high school education in electrical engineering or equivalent experience in electrical work
• Is independent, confident in your skills, and proactive in your work
• Is solution-oriented, structured, and enjoys working in a team
• Has good computer skills and can handle Office products

Requirements: B driver's license

Meritorious:

• Previous experience in electricity distribution as an installer/technician
• BE and/or C driver's license

A technical interest and ability make the work easier, but engagement, work ethic, collaboration, and safety awareness are more important to us than your background. Since communication is an important part of safety, you need to master the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

The position will include on-call duty.
