Do you want an exciting job? Do you want to help develop and influence an organization that operates in both peace and war? The Logistics Unit at Göta Engineer Regiment, Ing 2, is growing and is now looking for a storekeeper for the War Store Section. Does that sound interesting? Read on!
About the Unit
The Logistics Unit, LogE, supports the other units of the garrison with workshops, technical training, service stores, and goods reception. The unit provides other operations within Eksjö Garrison with materials and supplies and stores materials and other supplies for the garrison's war units.
As we are in a growth period and expanding, we need to strengthen the department with new employees. The section belongs to the Logistics Unit's Supply Department. About 35 people currently work there with good cohesion and close cooperation between the different sections.
Main Responsibilities
The War Store Section primarily works with the establishment and maintenance of war stores for two operational battalions and a home guard battalion. This includes handling materials to and from our stores and workshops in connection with maintenance measures regarding everything from chainsaws and bridges to cars and construction machinery. Reporting of materials in our support systems LIFT and PRIO occurs daily.
Qualifications
Requirements for the position
- High school diploma
- Driver's license for manual transmission, BE and CE
- Good administrative skills
- Good computer skills

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. You need to have good cooperation skills, flexibility, accuracy, and the ability to contact people is highly valued. You should be able to work both in a team and independently and with varying pace as our work is diverse.
Meritorious
- Completed military service or other military training
- Served as a soldier in a logistics function
- Knowledge of the Armed Forces' material process
- Experience with SAP/Prio and Lift
- Previous experience in inventory management and/or logistics
- Documented experience with construction machinery
- Military driving licenses
- Wheel loader certification C2
- Forklift license
- ADR competence
