Ödeshög Municipality is located in southwestern Östergötland, with Omberg to the north, Vättern to the west, the fertile Östgöta plain to the east, and the deep forests of Holaveden to the south. The E4 highway runs through the municipality, allowing you to easily reach both Linköping and Jönköping in 40 minutes by car. Approximately 5,400 residents live in Ödeshög Municipality, which, with its approximately 400 permanent employees across four different administrations, is the largest employer in the municipality.

You will work as a chef at the municipality's new preschool: Regnsbågens Preschool, which will open in the summer of 2025. This means you will work in a modern preschool with new and fresh facilities. Ödeshög's food unit consists of 3 production kitchens and 4 reception kitchens within preschool, school, and care. We produce a total of approximately 1,100 meals per day.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a chef/cook, you will work with cooking, dishwashing, cleaning, and other tasks that arise in a large kitchen.

Your work will also include safely preparing and handling special diets and working with dietary software.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a passion for food who wants to positively and outwardly contribute to the development and progress of the organization. A high school education from a restaurant and food program or an education deemed equivalent by the employer is required. Furthermore, knowledge of handling special diets is a requirement, and it is desirable that you have previously worked in similar positions.

If you have good computer skills, this is considered an asset.
