Do you have ice in your veins and are as alert as a cobra? Then you might be my new star assistant!

I am 45 years old, living with my husband, son, and a tangled puppy in Huddinge, south of Stockholm. Most of the time, I live the best life: with a villa, a Volvo, and work as a journalist, author, and speaker (as well as being a parent around the clock…)

But: Even Madonna is nothing without her makeup artists, songwriters, sound engineers, and backup dancers. And I, who am almost completely paralyzed after a riding accident, am entirely dependent on personal assistance for most things: like moving around, eating, going to the bathroom – and packing the gym bag for our twelve-year-old, flipping through DN during the sacred morning coffee moment, and touching up my mascara before a new concert with the choir I sing in.

So, a completely ordinary life, with a few extraordinary conditions. That’s where you come in!

You are the engine of my life. You are super-focused, attentive, meticulous – and you probably never give up, not even when a stone falls on your head. You will know how I like my makeup, my heating pads, and my shower water, as well as pick up on my tone when I am stressed, delighted, irritated with my husband, tired, and dealing with the aches and pains I am desperately trying to mask. Above all, you understand your own importance in helping me maintain my social roles – being a mom, wife, friend, colleague, and daughter. Among other things.

However, you really don’t need to have worked in healthcare or similar. I don’t need any medical help. But you understand that the job is very physical!

The workdays will vary, so you need to be flexible. Typically, we work full-day shifts, 15 hours at a time (7 AM - 10 PM or 8 AM - 11 PM), which corresponds to about 2-3 shifts a week for full-time. We will discuss the extent. And a driver’s license is required! The division is that you drive, and I change the radio station.
