In the role of Service Technician, you will travel around Sweden and the rest of the world, making this an exciting and developing challenge where you work with great freedom under responsibility. You will independently drive customer projects on-site and report to the regional Service Manager. Travel is a natural part of the job (about 150-180 days/year) and requires the ability to be away from home and enjoy the lifestyle this entails.

Your main responsibilities

• Perform urgent service tasks according to service orders
• Perform contractual services according to service orders
• Carry out repairs according to project or service orders
• Participate in/perform installation and commissioning of machines and lines
• Troubleshoot on-site and when applicable, via phone or email
• Document completed work according to applicable processes
• Provide internal and external support
• Train customer personnel

Your profile

As a person, you are service-oriented, technically interested, and have a strong drive. You enjoy taking significant personal responsibility and working independently, structured, and solution-focused. The ability to think logically and see the big picture is an important part of the job. You will be one of our faces outward, and therefore we place great importance on your personality and your service skills.

Requirements

• At least a high school education or higher in electronics, mechanics, control and regulation technology, automotive technology, or equivalent education
• Driver's license for a car
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Good computer skills

Meritorious

• Knowledge of the German language; knowledge of other languages is also meritorious
• Experience from a similar role, preferably from an international environment and/or in a position where travel is common
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems
• Knowledge of electrical systems
• Related safety training such as forklift, hot work, etc.
• Knowledge of PLC (Beckhoff, 840d, S5, S7, Simotion, TIA-Portal)
• Machine safety

Information about the employment

• Salary - Monthly salary. By agreement.
• Employment conditions - Full-time 100%, daytime.
• Start date - By agreement.
• The position is based at one of our operating units in Ulricehamn, Tranemo, or Lagan.
