The Social Administration is responsible for services, support, and assistance to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act, and must implement measures regulated by these laws. We are now looking for a new employee for our home care group in Borensberg West. Borensberg West covers a large geographical area, so it is required that a new employee has a B driver's license and feels secure behind the wheel.

You will work in a team of about 18 people, where you will together and individually provide services in the clients' own homes.

You will be welcomed into a safe, stable, and competent group with long experience in the nursing assistant profession. Here, you have the opportunity to grow in your professional role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant in Home Care in Borensberg, you will provide our clients with good care and support based on their individual needs and wishes. You will respectfully guide, support, and motivate the client to manage their daily routines in the best way according to their own abilities. The tasks may vary from personal hygiene, care, cleaning, laundry, support during meals, assistance in social activities, outdoor activities, and collaboration with relatives. It includes being a contact person, planning, implementing, documenting in the Viva system, and following up on care work. You will also perform health and medical care and rehabilitative measures as prescribed by a nurse and rehabilitation staff. We develop the operations together through our various competencies, and we want you to contribute to a good result and the best possible everyday life for our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish, as the role involves documentation.
• You are accustomed to using a computer as a support in your work and easily adapt to new digital tools.
• You have a completed degree in care and support.
• Since we are a rural unit and driving is a requirement for the position, a B driver's license is required.
• We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience in care-related tasks.

• You organize and plan your work well, work according to a clear process where you complete what you have started. You set deadlines and meet them.
• You take the initiative in social contexts, step forward, and easily create and maintain new relationships.
• You have the resources required for change or problem-solving. You do your best by doing what you can right now. You quickly find solutions to emerging problems.
