The VA unit plans and conducts the municipality's water and sewage operations, manages water and sewage facilities, produces and distributes drinking water, and diverts wastewater and stormwater, participating in the municipality's community development, e.g., detailed planning work. The unit employs 26 people. The VA unit has staff located in the municipal building, at the Brodalen industrial area, and at the Kåsjön waterworks.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a responsible and dedicated truck driver for Partille Municipality's VA unit. In this role, you will be an important part of our team and work with the transport of materials and equipment to and from various workplaces. You will also be prepared to step in as a pipe layer when needed, which means you will have varying tasks depending on the needs.

Your main job responsibilities will include:

• driving a truck within Partille and surrounding areas
• transporting materials to and from the VA unit's projects and workplaces
• working as a pipe layer when needed, which means you will be involved in laying pipes, connecting water and sewage, and other tasks within water and sewage technology
• ensuring that the workplace is safe and efficient together with your colleagues
• being able to operate a wheel loader
• being able to operate a crane with a crane platform
• responsibility for sampling and handling of excavated materials and recycling materials
• responsibility for the maintenance of the truck

On-call duty may be included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a C driver's license and experience driving a truck. A CE driver's license, YKB training, and previous experience as a pipe layer are advantageous.

To fit this role, you need to be used to working at a fast pace and have good physical condition. You are a reliable and responsible person who can take initiative while being a good team player and enjoy collaborating in a team. You have a practical mindset and can think flexibly in various work situations.
