We are looking for an experienced and dedicated 2nd Officer for one of our SCA vessels! The three sister vessels SCA Obbola, SCA Ortviken, and SCA Östrand operate on a scheduled service between Sweden and Northern Europe.

Salary according to collective agreement.

1:1 system with 4-6 week rotations to be agreed upon with your reliever.

The position may also lead to a temporary position as Chief Officer.

To be considered for the position, you must have:

• Ship's Officer Class V
• Valid STCW certificates (including Medical Care on Board)
• Valid medical certificate for seafarers
• A good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is advantageous if you have:

• Ship's Officer Class II
• Good knowledge of the Office suite
• Dangerous Goods certificate

Who are you?

You have a genuine interest in the work and care about your colleagues as well as the vessel's progress. You are responsible and a problem solver, with good communication skills.
