Operations Technician at Riksbyggen in Gothenburg

As an operations technician, you will work closely with customers in a varied and social role. You will manage energy and operations monitoring as well as maintenance of technical systems. ABOUT THE POSITION

No two days are the same as an operations technician. You will be part of a team that currently consists of 8 technicians in Gothenburg, 3 technicians in Borås, and an energy engineer. You will work in customer teams and in close collaboration with other operations technicians, technical managers, and property caretakers. The work is varied, social, and independent with a high degree of personal responsibility. You will work with many different types of buildings where your responsibilities include energy and operations monitoring, performing service, identifying deviations, and carrying out corrective maintenance. The position also includes on-call duties.

This is initially a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at Riksbyggen. Riksbyggen aims to offer employment after 6 months of consulting, so there are very good opportunities for over-recruitment, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Supervision and maintenance of the technical systems of the properties, including electricity, heating, ventilation, and cooling systems
• Performing service, identifying deviations, and carrying out corrective maintenance in technical systems and installations
• Managing the properties' sprinkler and fire alarm systems and conducting systematic fire protection work
• Managing work orders digitally, reporting to customers, and collaborating with customer teams

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has an education or equivalent experience in operations and property work or a university degree with a technical focus and competence in heating, ventilation, and cooling systems as well as control & regulation technology
• Has basic electrical knowledge for troubleshooting and familiarity with applicable regulatory requirements
• Has a good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing, as daily communication is conducted in Swedish
• Holds a B driver's license as it is required in daily work

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience from work in operations and property management
• Training in roof safety, lift training, and training in SBA, hot work, and facility manager for fire and sprinkler systems

Knowledge can be acquired through education, experience, or self-learning.
