About the Role

Do you have a technical interest and want to work with advanced technical solutions that ensure continuous power supply to critical systems? We are now looking for a UPS technician who can handle the assembly, installation, troubleshooting, and programming of UPS units (Uninterruptible Power Supply) to ensure that essential operations, such as hospitals, industry, and data centers, have an uninterrupted power supply.

As a UPS technician, you will be a key person ensuring that the UPS systems operate optimally. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems used to prevent interruptions during power outages. Since this is a role where you will work independently, it is important that you have a good technical understanding and can handle both practical and theoretical work.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Assembly and setup of UPS units – You will be responsible for setting up units that ensure continuous power supply during any interruptions.
• Maintenance and service – Conduct regular maintenance to ensure that the units function when they are needed the most.
• Troubleshooting – Diagnose and resolve technical issues with batteries, communication, or software to ensure system functionality.
• Repair work – If any broken components are detected, perform repairs or replacements of parts.
• Proactive analysis – Analyze system data to detect potential issues before they arise and optimize system performance.
• Programming – A large part of your work involves programming and adjusting system settings, including setting parameters and connecting batteries to ensure correct functionality.

You will work independently and start from home, but you will also have access to the nearest office for support. In this role, you will have ongoing customer contact to ensure that each installation meets the required standards. You will be part of a team but may sometimes be the only technician in your area.

We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with strong technical skills, who is self-driven and has a practical and solution-oriented approach. You enjoy working independently and have the ability to quickly understand technical problems to find the right solutions. It is also important that you have a good understanding of programming and system settings, as this will be a significant part of your work. You will also need to pass a background check to proceed.

Requirements:

• High school education in technology, preferably electrical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in technical work, preferably as a service technician.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Driver's license B.
• Strong technical interest and practical skills.
• Ability to travel for work.

Preferred Experience:

• Longer experience
• Background as an electrician
