Your mission

As a project manager, you will drive development projects from early stages to implementation and ensure that they follow the timeline and budget. You will act as an advisor for both employees and the municipality's administrations, while collaborating with various stakeholders to develop sustainable and well-planned areas.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for:

• leading and coordinating larger development projects
• acting as an advisor in land and development issues
• following up and ensuring that projects are implemented according to plan
• ensuring that public facilities are built according to the development agreement
• managing land-related agreements and property matters

As a leader in Värnamo municipality, you are a role model and ambassador. You communicate clear goals, create participation, and take responsibility for the whole by collaborating across unit boundaries.

Your profile

For the position of project manager, we are looking for someone with a university degree in land and development, surveying, or property law, preferably with a focus on project management. Alternatively, you have another education that the employer deems relevant for the assignment.

We consider it a prerequisite that you as a candidate have good knowledge of property law and urban planning. The position also requires that you handle the Swedish language in both speech and writing and hold a valid B driver's license.

Furthermore, we see that you as a candidate have:

• experience in project planning and costing, including AMA documents (AF, Land, VA)
• knowledge in contract law, procurement (LOU), and BAS-P/U
• skills in handling detailed planning processes and land development
• the ability to establish and manage land agreements and property legal matters
• computer proficiency and administrative skills with experience in relevant systems

You create participation and contribute to development, both for the individual and the organization. With your analytical and solution-oriented ability, you can handle complex issues and drive improvement work. You are structured and have an easy time prioritizing tasks, while being flexible and responsive to both employees' and the organization's needs. Your ability to collaborate is one of your strengths, and you see cooperation – both internally and externally – as a key to success. You are communicative and service-oriented, with experience in coordinating resources and following up on work.

To succeed in the role, good planning and organizational skills are also required, as well as experience in managing and establishing various types of land agreements. You have the ability to work both independently and in a group, with a clear focus on both short- and long-term goals.

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience working with map and GIS systems
• experience in procurement according to LOU
• advanced knowledge of AMA documents

The employment conditions are regulated by collective agreements. We offer a permanent full-time position starting as soon as possible, or by agreement. Individual salary setting applies. In Värnamo municipality, all permanent full-time positions are advertised.
