Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a B driver's license and experience in one of the following areas:

• Construction, repair, and maintenance of roads, streets, and green areas
• Pipe laying, preferably with at least 4–6 years of experience in larger projects and reinvestment projects
• Certification in pipe welding (requirement for pipe laying position)
• Welding certification, water and sewage, plastic welding.

Furthermore, we consider it an advantage if you have a C driver's license or a driver's certificate for trucks or wheel loaders.

To succeed in this position, you need to have the right attitude and drive to ensure Värnamo municipality's infrastructure. Above all, we value your willingness to develop, create, and contribute.

Your tasks and workplace

As mentioned earlier, your tasks will be varied, exciting, and fun, both in scope and character. We work with pride and professionalism and place great importance on quality in our work. Our goal is to build for the public, manage, and create long-term values.

You will work within the municipality's geographical boundaries, and your main tasks will be:

• New construction of the municipality's roads, pedestrian and bicycle paths, green areas, and parks
• New construction and renovation of the municipality's water and sewage network
• On-call duty may occur in this position

We are a group of 50 proud professionals in various fields with interesting tasks divided among administration, construction, street operation, and parks.

We work in pairs, but you will have the opportunity to get to know many colleagues.

The administration consists of the units Property, Leisure, Street/Park, and Water and Sewage (VA), as well as a Staff for administration.
