Järnboås School, a F-6 school in Nora municipality with approximately 65 students, is now looking for a teacher. The teaching is conducted in B-form, meaning more than one grade per class. The school is located a few miles outside of Nora and is a classic village school in the countryside. Järnboås School is part of the principal area 4 together with Ås School.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In collaboration with the school team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching based on current governing documents. You will plan tasks and document students' knowledge development in the municipality's digital system. You will actively take responsibility for creating good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Together with your colleagues, student health, and school management, you will work on school development that promotes the development of Järnboås School. Mentorship/class teacher roles may be included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Teaching degree with teaching certification for grades 1-6 with teaching authorization in Math/Swedish/English preferably in combination with Science or Social Studies.

We are looking for someone who is secure and stable and who easily connects with students and guardians. As a teacher, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and contribute to a calm and safe school environment. A prerequisite for succeeding in the role is that you have knowledge of children's development and learning, as well as the ability to adapt teaching based on the group and individual students' needs.
