Gardener Wanted at Stockholm Ports

Do you want to work in an exciting and beautiful environment? Stockholm Ports is now looking for a seasonal gardener to take care of the outdoor environment at our facilities in Stockholm.

As a gardener, you will be responsible for creating a pleasant and safe outdoor environment for our tenants and everyone who moves in the outdoor areas managed by Stockholm Ports. The job includes planning actions for the outdoor environment together with your colleagues and your immediate supervisor within given financial frameworks.

About the Job

The work includes maintaining plantings, weeding, performing minor repairs, and washing hard surfaces. You will plan the work together with two colleagues. Additionally, you will be responsible for supervising ten seasonal workers at a time during weeks 25 to 33. You will also drive the group and tools (with a trailer) between the areas of Stockholm Ports.

You should be able to start working as soon as possible (in April) until the end of September, and the working hours are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 16:00.

What You Bring to the Role

• Experience and/or education in gardening.
• Driver's license (B) for manual transmission.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Leadership training and/or experience in supervising staff
• Brushcutter training
• BE driver's license
