About the position

The main purpose of the vocational education center's activities is to create vocational training that leads to employment. In the role of vocational teacher in health and care, you will work with vocational education programs for specialist nursing assistants. The training is conducted remotely with a number of physical meetings.

The role includes close collaboration with colleagues and continuous quality development within the vocational education programs. It requires both strategic collaboration skills and a high level of cooperation competence.

Examples of tasks:

• conduct training remotely with physical meetings
• digital guidance and support for students
• prepare students for the professional role of specialist nursing assistant
• develop and ensure the quality of vocational education programs

About the workplace

Komvux Campus Risbergska - the adult education of opportunities, which has been gathered in renovated premises at Campus Risbergska since August 2017, beautifully located by Svartån near the Karlslund area.

Currently, over 200 employees work at Komvux Campus Risbergska, providing education and development for 3500 students. Training is conducted within Lärvux, SFI, at basic level, at upper secondary level, and within vocational education – we make it possible!

Requirements:

• vocational teacher education with a focus on health and care/teaching certification
• qualified nurse, district nurse, occupational therapist, or other healthcare education that the employer deems relevant for the position
• experience working in digital systems

Meritorious:

• experience of teaching within vocational education
• knowledge of vocational education regulations
• experience in creating and using digital teaching materials
