Specialist in IAM (Identity and Access Management)

We are now looking for a specialist in IAM (identity and access management) for our IT department.

In this role, you will play an important part within the municipal management staff. Our mission is to lead and support the development of the municipality. We create conditions for our operations to achieve their goals.

The Department of IT and Business Development is one of Skaraborg's largest IT organizations. We deliver IT services and create conditions for digitization for the Skövde municipal group and for our partner municipalities Hjo, Tibro, and Karlsborg.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a specialist in IAM (identity and access management) with us, you will play a key role in driving, managing, and developing our solutions across the entire IAM area.

With responsibility for both strategic and operational initiatives, you will ensure effective identity management and support the automation of processes related to the area.

You will work with identity management in both cloud and hybrid environments, ensuring that our solutions are modern and secure. This includes the implementation and management of authentication and access management solutions such as PKI, SAML, PIM, and MFA to meet our security requirements. We primarily work in a Microsoft environment.

Examples of tasks may include:

• Management and development of Microsoft's identity solutions
• Automation and scripting with PowerShell and MS Graph
• Management of authentication solutions such as PKI, SAML, and OpenID Connect in both cloud and hybrid environments
• Implementation and management of identity lifecycle management, from onboarding to offboarding, including process automation
• Implementation and management of PIM and Tiering
• Integration of identity solutions with various systems, including support for SQL and system integration
• Monitoring technological developments in the IAM field

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with solid knowledge and several years of documented technical experience in the IAM field.

For the role, we see that you have:

• Documented experience in security work related to identity, authentication, and access management
• Technical experience in Microsoft identity areas (Active Directory, Entra ID, Entra Connect Sync, Microsoft Identity Manager)
• Technical experience with various types of authentication such as PKI, SAML, and OpenID Connect
• Technical experience with identities in cloud and hybrid environments
• Skills in PowerShell, MS Graph, and SQL
• Basic knowledge of system integration
• Basic knowledge of access and authorization control such as MFA, PIM, Tiering

To thrive in the role, you need to have good collaboration skills and a strong desire to drive the development of effective working methods. You take responsibility for your tasks and work systematically to drive processes forward. Keeping yourself updated in the field through monitoring is a natural part of your work.

• Certification in the IAM field
