JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, as a preschool teacher, you will work with children aged 1-5 years. You will have a unique opportunity to influence and contribute to the children's development and learning, focusing on their right to participation and influence. The job responsibilities are based on the preschool curriculum (LPFÖ 18).

What do we offer you

We have joint professional development and collegial learning, both at our own preschool and together with other preschools in the municipality. There is also close cooperation with special educators and language pedagogues.

The staff in the preschool have access to iPads, and with the help of digital tools, we create a creative and developing environment for both children and adults. We use the documentation and information platform Unikum in our systematic quality work, follow-up, evaluation, and development.

If you are a newly graduated preschool teacher, you have the opportunity for an introductory period with the support of a mentor. If you are studying to become a preschool teacher, there are also good opportunities to combine studies with work.

We provide work clothes for indoor and outdoor use.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply to us have a preschool teacher license. You are expected to possess good IT skills and easily take on digital systems. Furthermore, you master the Swedish language in speech and writing in such a way that you can understand, make yourself understood, and communicate with different target groups, as well as document what the operation requires in writing.

Personally, you work according to a clear process, have foresight, organize and plan your work well, and complete what has been started. You handle stress constructively, maintain a good mood under pressure and setbacks. You demonstrate the ability to listen and communicate in an open, honest, and respectful manner. You show engagement and the ability to collaborate, handle problems, and conflicts. You adapt to different conditions and situations. You make relevant priorities based on the children's group and the unit's needs by using effective and appropriate working methods.

Background Check

To work in preschool, school, and youth and leisure activities, you must, according to the law on background checks, submit a background extract from the police's criminal record. You must request the extract from the National Police Board using the form "Extract from the Criminal Record" in the form archive from the police's website.
