Job Advertisement: Nurse in Ear, Nose, and Throat
Are you interested in the field of ear, nose, and throat and want to work with a wonderful team? Here is your opportunity to work as a nurse with tasks including telephone advice and assistance during minor surgeries at the clinic.
The nursing group also has distributed areas of responsibility such as coordinator, contact nurse for cancer patients, and surgical planning. The clinic has a comprehensive nursing reception where we conduct sleep investigations and CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) fittings. Working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday.
The position is permanent at the County Hospital with the first placement in the ear, nose, and throat clinic for 1 year.
About You
We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with a few years of experience. It is an advantage if you have experience in outpatient care and Cosmic. As a person, you are positive and structured, have personal maturity, and a willingness to collaborate to achieve the best results for the patient. You need to be able to work both independently and in a team and have good communication skills. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

Your Future Workplace
The clinic consists of the ear, nose, and throat reception, speech therapy reception, and audiology. We are about 60 employees working together. The clinic has outpatient services in modern and well-equipped premises, its own inpatient beds in the shared care department 39, and surgical resources in the central operating room.
At the reception, we handle, among other things, infectious diseases in the ear, nose, and throat area, cancer and benign tumors, neurological diseases, trauma, and nocturnal breathing pauses. Hearing impairment investigations are also conducted at the reception in collaboration with audiology. We also conduct extensive day surgery activities in the form of skin surgeries. The County Hospital in Kalmar is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an emergency hospital with specialized care, maternity care, and postpartum care. More than 2300 people work here to provide good care and high patient safety to the county's residents.
